What we collect
- When you email us: your name, email address, company, website and anything else you choose to send.
- When you visit the site: our hosting and network providers process technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in server and security logs. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
This website does not set cookies and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To reply to your enquiry and carry out a check you requested: our legitimate interests, and steps you asked for before any contract.
- To deliver services you buy from us: performance of a contract.
- To keep business and tax records: legal obligation.
- To run and secure the website: our legitimate interests.
We don't send marketing emails unless you ask for them, and every marketing email has a way to unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the business, including website hosting (Hostinger), network and security services (Cloudflare), and email. When we analyse your public website and public AI answers, we use AI and data providers under business terms. We don't sell personal data.
International transfers
Some providers process data outside the UK and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on recognised safeguards, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 24 months of our last contact. Client and accounting records are kept for as long as UK law requires, normally six years. Server logs are kept by our providers for limited periods under their own policies.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Email [email protected]. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to the data protection authority where you live.
